Excel to PDF Converter, Free and Simple
Save an Excel workbook as a PDF for sharing or printing. Upload XLSX, XLS or ODS and download the PDF. Converted on our EU server, never stored.
Unlike our other tools, this one sends your file over an encrypted connection to our server in the EU. It is converted in memory, the PDF is returned to you, and nothing is kept: not the file, not the result, not its name. How server-side tools handle your data
Best for Excel spreadsheets (XLSX, XLS, ODS). Every other Office format listed below works too.

About Excel to PDF
Spreadsheets are built for editing, not reading. When you need to share a budget, a timesheet or a price list without anyone changing the numbers, a PDF is the safer format. This page converts an Excel workbook (XLSX, XLS or ODS) into a PDF with one page per printed sheet area.
Converting a workbook
Steps
- Choose or drag in the workbook. One file, up to 25 MB.
- Press Convert to PDF.
- Download the PDF, which carries the workbook's name with a
.pdfending.
Getting the page layout right
The PDF follows the print settings saved inside the workbook, so a minute in Excel before converting saves a lot of trimming afterwards:
- Print area: select the cells you want and set them as the print area, or the whole used range is printed.
- Orientation and scaling: landscape plus "fit all columns on one page" avoids a wide table being split across pages.
- Hidden sheets are not printed; visible sheets are converted in order.
- Formulas are shown as their current values. Recalculate before saving if the data changed.
- Charts placed on a sheet are rendered where they sit.
Where the conversion happens
A browser cannot paginate a spreadsheet the way Excel does, so the workbook is sent to our server in the EU and rendered there by LibreOffice. It is converted in memory and discarded as soon as the PDF has been returned. We do not store, read or share your workbooks, and file names are never logged. The privacy policy explains the technical records we do keep.
Limits
- Password-protected and macro-enabled (
.xlsm) workbooks are not accepted. - Very large workbooks with hundreds of thousands of rows may exceed the one-minute conversion window; print a filtered range instead.
- External links to other workbooks are not followed.
