\\text{Liters} = \\text{Fluid Ounces} \\times 0.0295735

\\text{Liters} = \\text{Pints} \\times 0.473176

\\text{Liters} = \\text{Gallons} \\times 3.78541

How to Calculate Price Per Liter

Find the total price - The amount you're paying for the product
Convert quantity to liters - If the package volume is in milliliters, fluid ounces, pints, or gallons, convert to liters
Divide - Total price divided by quantity in liters

Worked Example

You're comparing two brands of olive oil:

Brand A: $12.99 for 750ml
Brand B: $17.99 for 1L

Let's calculate:

Brand A:

750ml × 0.001 = 0.75L
$12.99 ÷ 0.75L = **$ 17.32/L**

Brand B:

Already in liters: 1L
$17.99 ÷ 1L = **$ 17.99/L**

Brand A is cheaper by $0.67 per liter despite the smaller package!
