About This Tool

Standard 4.0 Scale
The tool uses the universally accepted US standard 4.0 GPA scale.
- A+ / A = 4.0
- A- = 3.7
- B+ = 3.3
- B = 3.0
- B- = 2.7
- C+ = 2.3
- C = 2.0
- C- = 1.7
- D+ = 1.3
- D = 1.0

How GPA is Calculated
GPA is calculated as a weighted average. The grade points for each course are multiplied by the course's credit hours. The sum of these weighted points is then divided by the total number of credit hours.
