Increment calendar date

Formula

Add days, months, or years to any date using the formula:

textnewDate=textoriginalDate+textduration\\text{newDate} = \\text{originalDate} + \\text{duration}

Where duration is the sum of days, months, and years to add.

Worked example

Increment 15 March 2025 by 45 days:

  1. Start date: 15 March 2025
  2. Add 45 days
  3. March has 31 days, so 31 - 15 = 16 days remaining in March
  4. 45 - 16 = 29 days left
  5. April has 30 days, so 29 days into April = 29 April 2025

Result: 29 April 2025

How to use

  1. Enter the start date
  2. Enter the number of days to add
  3. Optionally enter months and years to add
  4. Click "Calculate" to see the incremented date
