About this tool
The Duplicate Remover tool cleans up your text by removing repeated lines, words, or numbers. Paste a list and it returns only the unique items, preserving the original order of first occurrence.
You choose how the tool splits your input with a delimiter — newline, space, comma, or a custom character you define. Once split, it filters out duplicates based on what matters most for your data.
Multiple Delimiters
Split your text by newline, space, comma, or enter a custom delimiter character. The tool handles each separator consistently.
Targeted Deduplication
Choose whether to remove duplicates across all items, only numbers, or only words. Duplicate entries matching the chosen type are collapsed to their first appearance.
Filter Output
Optionally strip words or numbers entirely from the output while also deduplicating the remaining items. This is useful when cleaning mixed lists of IDs and descriptions.
Case Sensitivity
Toggle case-sensitive matching so that "Apple" and "apple" are treated as distinct items. When disabled, they are merged into a single result.
Trim Whitespace
Strip leading and trailing spaces before comparing items, so " apple" and "apple" are recognized as the same value.
Ignore Empty Items
Skip blank entries produced by consecutive delimiters or trailing separators, keeping the output clean and compact.
